Golden Hawaii Sunset Engagement Session

Amber & Blaine booked me to photograph their 2022 wedding and also bundled on an engagement session this year to get photos for their Save the Date. They wanted a super glowy, sunset-drenched spot on a gorgeous Hawaii beach. I knew exactly how to make it happen!

Sunset on O’ahu changes depending on the season. In Summer, the sun sets around 7:00 to 7:15 pm. It’s best to start your engagement session 1 hour before the sun is predicted to set. That way, your photos will take place during Golden Hour, and you will look absolutely flawless in the flattering light!!

We danced along the pristine sand and eventually got our feet wet as the sun dipped behind the horizon. These two embraced their connection and I really love how the photos capture their playfulness and love.
