Vibrant Destination Elopement in O'ahu, Hawai'i

You fly across the Pacific Ocean through endless fluffy clouds, anxious for your arrival at a tropical paradise to marry Your Forever Person. The minute you step off the plane and feel the warm air, suddenly all of your worries wash away and you’re immersed in the tropical destination wedding of your dreams.

Hawai'i is one of the best destinations for an intimate + adventurous wedding getaway. The atmosphere here in the islands is laid back, welcoming, and calming — PERFECT for your dream destination elopement!

Kayla + Jesse’s Elopement was INSANELY beautiful and straight out of a picturesque vision! They hired me as their photographer and we spent the day exploring the island, making 3 epic stops during their special day. The first stop was this warm, stunning coastal beach to do an intimate First Look.

Our next stop before their Ceremony was to an epic rocky coastal location with sweeping views of Hawai’i’s turquoise blue ocean and lush green mountains. Honestly, the view says it all!

Tucked away behind a small neighborhood on North Shore, this spot is the perfect private getaway to embrace the elements. We felt like we were transported to a whole other world. Kayla + Jesse had a blast embracing the winds, while admiring the gorgeous views together, hand in hand.

We had SO much fun running around the island, but Kayla and Jesse could not wait to tie the knot!!

Their wedding ceremony was held at an iconic botanical garden, surrounded by lush greenery of all kinds of carefully cultivated species, tropical hibiscus flowers, and of course the iconic + bold Hawaiian Ko’olau mountain range as a backdrop.

Kayla + Jesse invited their closest family + friends to celebrate with them and their day could not have been more perfect! Small weddings are my absolute favorite — they are perfectly intimate, private, and they leave SO much flexibility to celebrate the most important part of the day; the couple!!
